SAN DIEGO -- Coach Mike McCoy still doesnt have any real answers for why his San Diego Chargers keep blowing big leads late in games. Trysten Hill Jersey .He does know the answer to a question thats on the minds of a lot of angry fans.Asked Monday if he thought his job is in jeopardy, he said: No. Im coaching my tail off every day and Im the head coach. And the Chargers are 1-3, thanks to their latest pratfall. They blew a 13-point lead with just under seven minutes to go and lost 35-34 to the previously winless New Orleans Saints on Sunday. Fumbles by running back Melvin Gordon and wide receiver Travis Benjamin gave Drew Brees the opening to lead a comeback against his former team. The Chargers blew a 21-point, third-quarter lead at Kansas City on opening day and lost 33-27 in overtime. After routing Jacksonville in their home opener, they blew a late lead at Indianapolis and lost 26-22.Then came the meltdown against the Saints. The resulting fan discontent comes at a bad time. The Chargers, whose attempted move to Los Angeles was rebuffed by fellow NFL owners in January, are seeking a $1.1 billion public handout for a new downtown stadium via a ballot measure calling for an increase in the hotel occupancy tax. The Chargers have once again threatened to move to Los Angeles -- where they could join the Rams in a stadium slated to open in Inglewood in 2019 -- if the measure is rejected.Besides the fumbles, there were plenty of other errors by the Chargers, like Benjamin letting too many punts hit the ground and a sloppy three-and-out drive on the first possession of the second half that McCoy called a disaster.Theres 53 minutes of some good football and then unfortunately we turned the ball over twice there to give them a great opportunity to do what they did, McCoy said. Youre furious when you watch because you see all the positives, but then theres the blowups. We can put it on two plays, but thats not the only reason Theres a number of times during the games. Like I told the players, thats every week. Theres so many things we can do better. The Chargers have lost 15 of their last 20 games and are 24-30 overall under McCoy.Up next is a road game against the rival Oakland Raiders. The Chargers were swept in the AFC last season while going 4-12 overall. They have lost 10 of 11 road games dating to the last game of 2014.Also coming under fire from fans are general manager Tom Telesco and the president of football operations, John Spanos, who is the grandson of owner Alex Spanos.Asked if Telesco and Spanos are getting him the right players, McCoy said: Yesterday we had every opportunity to win the game. Weve got the players to go out and win. Weve got to do a better job not turning the ball over, not making certain mistakes that we made at critical times in certain games.---Follow Bernie Wilson on Twitter at http://twitter.com/berniewilson---AP NFL websites: www.pro32.ap.org and www.twitter.com/AP-NFL Tommy McDonald Jersey .S. hockey team after paying his dues as an NHL general manager for more than three decades and giving up a lot of his free time to help USA Hockey. LOUIS -- Valtteri Filppula assisted on three of Tampa Bays four goals, and the Lightning beat the St. ORLANDO -- The Chicago Bulls front office is not planning on a face-to-face meeting with Heat?star Dwyane Wade in New York City as of now, a league source told ESPN, despite the fact that Wade met with the Denver Nuggets and Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday. The Vertical reported Wednesday that the Bulls postponed a meeting with Wade because of flight delay issues but that they were calling teams to unload contracts, trying to create space to sign him.Heat?owner Micky Arison met with Wade in New York on Wednesday afternoon. A league source told ESPN that Arison emerged from the meeting without a resolution or an agreement in place. Arison later posted a photo from a cruise ship to his social media accounts and indicated he was headed to Europe. It was Arison, the Carnival Cruise Line magnate, who stepped in during acrimonious negotiations between Wade and team president Pat Riley to broker the one-year, $20 million deal Wade signed last summer. The Nuggets have offered Wade a two-year deal worth north of $50 million, league sources told ESPN.Wade also met with Bucks owner Marc Lasry. Sources say Wade is said to be a big fan of Bucks swingman Khris Middleton after they worked out together last summer. This isnt the first time Wade, a Chicago native, and the Bulls have been linked in free-agency speculation. In the summer of 2010, some within the Bulls organizatioon believed that both Wade and fellow free agent Chris Bosh were going to sign to play in Chicago after taking a visit to the city and talking with some Bulls players. Danny White Jersey. Ultimately, Wade and Bosh decided to team with LeBron James and form a super team in Miami that would go on to win two NBA championships.Having lost out on Wade once before in free agency, some within the Bulls organization are concerned that Wade could be using Chicago as free-agency leverage to bring Miamis offer up, sources told ESPN. But the chatter among league sources at the Orlando Summer League remains that Wade will once again sign in Miami when all is said and done. After dealing Derrick Rose to the New York Knicks last week, Bulls GM Gar Forman acknowledged that Chicagos window for championship contention had closed and that his team needed to get younger and more athletic. The Bulls changed course by signing veteran point guard Rajon Rondo on Sunday and would significantly veer away from that message by adding Wade. But without Rose as a box office draw, the Bulls could decide to roll the dice with Wade, who like star guard Jimmy Butler is a Marquette?alum, and hope for the best as they try to figure out how they want to rebuild the roster.
